One of the flagship projects from our 2024 multimedia Kickstarter, ProgCore Fantasy: Dark Age of Theer is a 300 page tome for use with any roleplaying game. It explains how to bring the ProgCore Fantasy style to your RPG sessions, regardless of the game you play & describes the Dark Age of Theer, an original game world designed for ProgCore Fantasy play.

Dark Age of Theerfeatures over 100 original illustrations and paintings in color and b&w, & 28 short stories from the world of Theer by creators David Nett & Todd Stashwick, as well as authors such as Wil Wheaton, Anjali Bhimani, Marc Bernardin, Jasmine Bhullar, Terry Matalas, Cecil Castellucci & more. It’s accompanies by an introduction from The NeverEnding Story’s Tami Stronach (the Childlike Empress), an excursus by Drea Letamendi, Ph.D., and a benediction from Styx’s Tommy Shaw.

A Special Limited Edition (150 signed & numbered copies) for GaryCon XVIII will be available at GaryCon in March 2026, with any remainders on sale at TheNerdCircus.com. Proceeds from these books help get the Dark Age of Theer projects over the finish line.
